They went as far as sealing up all the drain plugs so that they could make sure no tampering was done. The guy would let it run all day long to prove the point that it was disappearing. They would drain the oil and it would sure enough be short. They never figured out the problem to my knowledge. We have lost contact with him since this was going on but last we heard they were not doing anything since the engine was still running OK.

Beyond that, just search CP4 fuel pump failure online. Hell, there's even a support group on facebook when you google it. I will admit most of these appear to be on pre 2015 trucks, but doesn't mean Ford won't stick it to you if your 2015 has those issues.

So your first example is void because owner admits he may have put def in tank. And the second you don't know what the final outcome was as you have lost contact with owner so you have no idea if a warranty was refused or if truck was ever fixed.
Im not trying to give anyone a hard time its just people claim I know a guy this happened too and spread the stories. Most folks with problems don't want to admit water or def in fuel. I know our local Ford dealer has had two pump problems. One water in fuel and one failed pump, failed pump was covered.

You mean kind of like "someone" on this forum who knows someone, or knows someone that knew someone who owned a Dodge/Ram pick up and...., :)
