Backing with stabilizers

I have heard that you cannot back with stabilizers on. I expect no sharp turns but doesn't seem reasonable not to be able to back with them on. What's the truth?

  • I don't get it? I wouldn't recommend moving anywhere with the stabilizers down they will bend for sure. as for attached and retracted I don't see why you couldn't back up with them. are you referring to some sort of friction sway control instead? if that's the case its best to disconnect before trying to maneuver backwards but its not 100 percent necessary if you are not making a sharp turn. will make a lot of noise and slow things down though. best to disconnect.
