With the amount of road force/stress the axles are subjected to using a chock will apply far less pressure. Your trailer has a constant weight of thousands of pounds sitting on the axles including bouncing down the road which does not distort any rubber so doubtful you would have any problems resulting from chock usage. You will be fine. I use them on my torsion set-up the last 4 years with no issues.
