BAL X wheels chocks

Anyone have a negative/positive experience with the BAL 28005 Deluxe Tire Chocks? I read a post on another selling site that one person blew out the belts of their radial tires, hmmm sounds like they over-tightened. I've been contemplating the purchase but looking for any bad stuff about the use.

    I've had them for several years now and have nothing but positive comments. They do keep the wheels from rocking but doesn't keep the frame from bouncing. If they ruined your tires, they'd probably be out of business by now! :R

    Lot's of people use them, but mine sits on the garage shelf as I didn't like it. You need to tighten them really tight for them to work. I use a BAL 28000A on each side. My trailer isn't going anywhere, that is for sure.
