the aluminum channels are supports for the tanks, plus they have brackets as well. As very good design in my mind. I am not sure this is all Arctic Foxes fault. I did have a freeze up once that would have expanded the tank. It was a minor freeze but it did do it all the same. It is true I have been careful on filling the tank so that should not be a factor. These bumpy roads and traveling with some water all the time might have contributed. As I said, my dealer is getting me right in and north woods has been helpful with all questions I ever had. This is my first real issue.
