I believe in general, farm stores are a very competitive place to shop for automotive and light truck needs.
I noted my local Runnings farm store (Exide batteries) normally beats Walmart battery, oil and filter prices unless Walmart has a sale. I do have a set of Walmart marine start/deep cycle batteries that sold so cheap on sale, it was worth the compromised multi-specs that dual use batteries suffer from. Runnings doesn't yet list web pricing, but might be worthy of stopping, if one lives in the upper midwest area.
Tractor Supply does have stores in Colorado. They sell an Exide group 27 deep cycle for $80.
I saw 6v Golfcart batteries at a good price locally in Sams Club. Pricier for pairs (12v), but supposedly the best for strictly deep cycle needs.
