I bought a Group 27 deep cycle Interstate battery last year from NAPA and paid $110 plus tax. I like to support my local merchants and keep it in the local economy and not have my money go to Bentonville and the Walton family of billionaires.
I also don't like it that the average Wal-Mart store costs the state and federal governments $1.7 million in medical and food and other welfare payments to Wal-Mart employees who strangely enough can't survive on Wal-Mart wages. Does not help that Wal-Mart does not pay for their forced overtime hours of work. Why would anyone shop at such an evil company to save a few bucks. I guess I put a greater value on my integrity.
