So I'm thinking I may have a gremlin. I know the camper was down to 12.24v on Monday after using it last weekend. I put it on the charger for 2 days and it reported 12.7v after pulling the plug from the wall.
This may be your problem. If you checked the battery charge with a volt meter immediately after you disconnected the charger (or "pulled the plug from the wall") you were reading a surface charge, not the true battery voltage. A surface charge should have read much higher, somewhere in the mid 13 volt range. If your surface charge was only 12.7, then your true battery voltage was probably in the low 12's and NOT fully charged.
You must leave your battery sit for several hours (even a day) for the surface charge to dissipate and then check the voltage. A 12.7 at that time would indicate a fully charged battery. I have the sense that you are not starting with a full charge. Could be bad battery or a bad charger.
