Battery Charger Recommendation
I need to pad my Christmas list, so I thought about asking for a battery charger. Would like to get a smart charger. Looking on Amazon, I found this Shumacher. Thoughts? Can you recommend a better...

Schumacher are good "middle of the road" chargers. As stated, it depends what you usage is. General top off, and a few days of trickle, it will be fine.
Schumacher makes many, MANY different models all with slightly different features but pretty much the same functionality. You can probably find one very similar but maybe with an analog gauge instead of digital at Walmart, K-mart, Target or Sears for $30-$40 ! These are good "general purpose" units.
I ave one with an analog gauge and similar specs that is about 20 years old. Nice addition to the garage.
Costco has a 3A Battery Tender Plus for about $30, if that is all you want.
