I'd recommend the schumacher-10-amp-fully-automatic-or-manual-deep-cycle-battery-charger. It'll charge a deep cycle battery in the manual mode and will automatically charge a car battery in the auto mode. I've had one for several years and love it.
Just my opinion.
Mine has 6/12 volt. I plug it into a router speed controller, set it on 6 v attached to a guitar string and have a nice Styrofoam cutter also.
If it's just a maintainer, one of the small Battery Tenders will do the job, especially if the battery is disconnected from parasitic loads. I maintain a few 12V batteries that I use for other purposes and I maintain them with a 12V wall wart transformer and two alligator clips. I watch the voltage with a meter and when the battery and transformer voltage reaches 14V, they are very close to full SOC. If I need to bring them back to a better capacity, I'll put the higher voltage shop charger on them pushing 40 amps. An hour or two on that charger will bubble the sulfur off the plates and get everything ready to go for another few months.
Good luck with the battery maintenance.
