Unless someone can explain it to me otherwise, 2 - 12v batteries will have approx. the same AH's as 2 - 6v batteries. 2 - 6v batteries typically has double the Ah's as a single 12v.
The battery compartment in my camper is pretty big and I can fit lot of different sizes in it.
The 2 GC 6 V batteries are taller than 12V batteries and having less compartments inside, offer much more plates and much more AH than 2 of 12V batteries.
Per rule of thumb, GC batteries gave you always the best AH for a buck, but with latest technology some owners spend lot of money for better promises on AGM batteries.
I don't know much about AGM batteries in RV, but those used in Mercedes of last decade fail at alarming rates.
