Thanks for the input! My rig is only 2 years old. Sounds like half are saying to just leave the batteries connected and the others say to disconnect. It charges it to 13.1 V, and I do regularly check the water levels. So far so good. I want to install a cut off switch, that'd be nice and easy and then I will disconnect them when not in use.
Most importantly, I appreciate knowing I can just leave the converter on so I can use the heat if I want to use it as a man cave this winter.
