Since I store my camper inside during the winter months, besides turning off the battery disconnect, I also plug in my shore power cord since the solar power panels will not be getting sunlight to keep the batteries at full charge. That way, having it plugged in will charge my batteries during the winter months.
Even during the summer months, I keep my batteries turned on and plugged into my 30 amp connection at the house because I keep my refrigerator on all summer.
Edit update - I talked to my dealer today and he said to NOT keep the camper plugged into 110 all winter long with the battery switch turned to the off position. He said you do not want to run your converter like that long term. So, I will make sure my batteries are topped off and then maybe once a month during the winter plug it in for a couple of hours to make sure the batteries stay topped off since it will be inside and not getting solar charging. If it was outside and the battery switch was turned to the off position, the solar panels will still charge the battery. Just wanted to update my post with this info.
