Battery Draw down

That is a good sized drain.
Start by locating your 12 volt DC power distribution panel. Remove each fuse watching closely for a small arc. Can also be scene where pushing fuse back in. The one with arc is the drain.
Next method is with ohm meter. Remove fuse, place one lead to ground and other on output terminal of fuse. With meter set on around 1000 scale look for resistance.

Stick one of these in between the battery and your main positive cable. Suggest you leave the emergency breakaway switch direct to the battery.

Radio also has a parasitic draw. Fridge uses 12V when on propane.

ok, my unit is a Magnetek power converter model 6345, as far as I know it is the original to the TT which is a 1995 Mallard. I checked the fuses for arc and found none. Did not check with ohm meter but called my local mobile RV tech which is aware my my problems and said my problem was a bad converter and he would replace the bottom of the converter for approx $200.00 plus labor and service call for a total of $300 to 350.00. This sound ok to to all of you?

If you were to replace the converter you'd do far better to replace it entirely with a modern, up-to-date model which is capable of multi stage charging and will properly bulk charge the battery, Progressive Dynamics models being some of the most popular with those here on the forum.

Agreed, called Best converter and they said use the PD4655VL and thats what we are going with, I think.
