Battery Monitor

As pianotuna has said - the OEM battery monitor is worthless. If it were me I would wait/learn B4 I would invest in expensive upgrade.

I am planning to get one of these for my camper soon.

Victron bluetooth battery monitor

In general, the ones that are provided are pretty much a joke. Victron makes some excellent devices.

Some of the newer ones use blue tooth which is a nice feature.

I do have a 12 VDC Cigarette Lighter Socket in my 5er. Are there any GOOD and inexpensive plug in voltmeters?

I would think that it does. Our Jayco trailer has one. How accurate they are is somewhat questionable. I guess I can say they give relative readings.
