New trailer, new batteries. I have 2- 6 volts in series. Any suggestion on the switch type an how to wire the switch in to work. Suggestion on securing batteries without taking home while in storage...

Here is my battery box for two 6V batteries. It's a very thick plastic box from Century Plastics. link to site here
The two 6V batteries just fit in this model of box. I welded a hold down top for it and there are the puck style locks on either end. You can see one of them. It would be extremely difficult to steal these batteries.
