One thing you need to know about the battery tenders.
If left connected to the battery with no AC input the tender will run down the battery. The battery tender has a small load on the battery.
I had one on a car and the GFI had tripped. After 5 months the battery was totally dead. I mean like 1.5 volts dead. Not sure when the GFI tripped.
