I ended up using a piece of 1" EMT and it took a while to work it out. I trust you are using grease that meets Dexter's specs. "
You got that right. What happened to small double notches in the casting so you could get a good bite on removing the race. Poor engineering. I guess cheesy isn't just everything above the axles, it's in them too!
