To put it in the words of Dr. Peter Venkman: It just seems a little pricey for a unique fixer upper opportunity.
I wouldn't call that trailer a fixer upper. Nothing wrong with it as it is. It should be towed with a vintage station wagon of the same period though. I love it.
Back in February I bought this trailer for $750. Been working on it slowly under cover. It's seen a little more wear and tear than the one advertised, but soon it will be my boys home.
Fixed the roof first.
The front of the trailer was painted on the interior, but the rear bedroom is still beautiful birch.
Cozy little kitchen.
Very compact bathroom.
Living room up front.
And now new paint on the outside.
This 61 year old trailer is sound and solid, in way better shape than all the trailers we looked at from the 70's and 80's, most of which had serious dry rot issues. And we already built a wonderful shed for it on our farm with sewer, water and electric for my son to live in it while he attends college. Hans
