Aren't we all expressing our 'opinions' folks ?
Many times pure opinions...other times empirically based...others from study...others from all these types of sources
I do NOT diss anyone else's opinions as a general rule. Depends on the venue.
If in a teaching environment, will comment a bit more strenuously if there is
potential to lead astray young engineers/scientists/etc...or create a potential
hazardous situation.
What is expensive to one person, might be a bargain for another.
I've been a gasser kind of guy since a teen...though have been around diesel's
most of that time too. As my circle of acquaintances/friends/buddies grew...met
more diesel folks.
Looked several times, but always didn't have enough to tempt me...yet
Readily admit that diesel has more energy per unit measure. That diesel is the
most efficient fueled ICE that I've ever read about (a 2 cycle diesel with about
a 40% efficiency...meaning 60% is NOT used to turn the drive shaft and is lost)
