LOL,everything has raised,over the years!We went through a fad, that passengers higher off the ground must be better,because they saw it on off road shows.Now, when I was younger,we used to flip the axles, under our campers,so the body was higher, for going off road.Today's campers and trucks are ungodly high, which serves no purpose.A stock f150,or 1/2t chevy needs a ladder for me to get into it!And don't get me started on the height of the bed rails!Higher,and sometimes the inner metal of the bed is strange shaped.We went through an era where people would purchase a new truck, try to install their older slide in camper, and have to put it on 4"x$"'s so it would fit.I personally thought we would have gotten away from this "jacked up" ****,as it only costs fuel economy.But I guess we now have another generation that wants to "look cool".
