Real world your probbly grossly inaccurate with your 1000 pound guess.
And, for you GVWR naysayers all I can tell you is next trip out drive across a set of scales. You just might be in for a real surprise.
BTW, my fiver has a GVWR of 13,750 and I generally scale at 13,500 pounds. And we do not load heavy.
