bent camper leg bracket

I bent the bracket that holds the rear leg, what i'm trying to figure out is do i just unbolt it then bolt it back together or is there an adhesive that is put on. I was stuck on a freeway in so.ca. and in order to get out i had to maneuver between an abandoned vehicle and the guard rail, the leg just barely caught the guard rail and just bent the bracket.

    That's what I was able to do. Only bent the part attached to the leg, not the bracket section on the camper.

    On my brackets they used some type of rubber based sealer between the bracket and the fiberglass. It isn't silicone or butyl. Similar to the clear Geocel sealer except white.

    The metal to metal connections(leg to bracket) were sealed with silicone.

    Congratulations for getting out of that mess un-charred. It looked awful on the news. My brackets are all caulked. There's no "glue" that's going to hold a jack bracket in a structural fashion. Straighten the bracket, bolt it back up and caulk to prevent leaking into the frame.
