Look at the Aliners: Aliner . It tows like a PUP, but has no canvas. Our 2012 Classic (around 1850 lb. dry weight) has a couch that slides out to an almost queen bed, a/c, furnace, fridge, microwave, outside shower, 2-20 lb. propane tanks, a dinette that converts to a roomy single+ bed, a stove that can be used inside or outside (quick connect propane hookup inside and outside), a sink, a Fantastic fan, plus another vent, several side windows, and two bubble windows on the roof panels. It can also come with a hot water heater, which we opted not to have (we use a hot pot to heat water for dishes).
Look at the Ranger 10 or Ranger 12 for lighter models.
An Aliner is a good choice for someone who likes to be outside most of the time, and for 1 or 2 people. We use an Easy Up as our awning.
