I recently ordered my first ever cover. Went through AutoAnything site and got the TruXedo TruXport vinyl cover. My brother-in-law had about the same cover on a couple of different trucks and liked it. When we unpacked mine he commented that the newer versions looked like higher quality.
Went on great, right up to the point where we discovered that they forgot to include the 6 clamps. Ran to Home Depot and spent $16.00 for 4 C-clamps to get me by until I could get them to send my missing clamps.
You would think it would be an easy process to let AutoAnything know I was missing clamps and get them shipped, but then you would be WRONG!
The supplier said they would need the serial number of my cover. I told them I had no idea where to find it, just send the missing clamps for the model of cover that I ordered. They insisted the factory had to have the serial number. Then the factory got involved. I told them it was stupid that I would have to provide a serial number for missing parts on my shipment I had just received. That was like talking to a brick wall, had to have a serial number for some stupid reason.
Rolled cover back and found serial number. Soon after sending it in they said they would be sending missing clamps along. Other than receiving less-than-excellent customer service, the cover does look and function good so far.
