Complete RUBBISH ... I'm not "counting" on anything. :R I've never suggested "permanently" connecting to a community water source, in fact my original post on this subject said exactly the opposite. All I've said is that using a quick disconnect fitting to connect to a community water source is in fact the
most courteous way of using this supply because if someone else comes along looking for water I can quickly disconnect and allow them to do so. Another method is to attach a Y adapter so
two people can use the same source at the
same time, whether either is feeding a hose that in turn is filling a trailer's fresh water holding tank or whether one may be filling a portable container of one sort or another. Good grief, this isn't complicated. :S
