I just bought one of those pocket type hoses from Lowe’s that is drinking water safe. Haven’t used it yet and I’ll write something about it later.
If he was just filling his container(s) there really would be no need for him to use a quick disconnect, now would there?
IMHO the only time you should be hooked up to a common spigot is when you are in the area and are filling up your FW tank or other container, and in those cases there is absolutely no need for a quick disconnect.
