I don't see where the OP is going to be towing anything and if so what in his question. That changes everything.
As to the Ram cosmetics you won't be looking at the truck while you are driving it. The Cummins MPG empty and towing should change your mind if fuel mileage is your main concern. The trucks are less money as well.
