The 3.5 Eco should pull your camper with ease. It probably won't be as good as the heavier trucks in the crosswinds but should be better than the Tahoe. If you're not going to buy a heavier camper in the future then the 3.5 Eco should fit the bill nicely and be better than the heavier trucks when not towing. Typically diesel fuel is more expensive than gas so if fuel cost is a concern then the Eco should win out there too with possibly the exception of the 3.0.
