- TrailerTravele1ExplorerLance Campers (including travel trailers) have a Limited 2 Year Structural Warranty over and above their regular 1 year warranty. Here's the certificate:

Lance Camper Warranty
Agree with others that the warranty is only as good as the dealer. The dealer we bought our Lance 1685 from wouldn't respond when it was time for some warranty work - even though we wanted him to add solar and some other paid work. We located another dealer - Middleton RV in Festus, Missouri - who performed the warranty work (and was happy to add the solar). Since the Lance factory is in California, we were happy to have Middleton RV step up and handle everything. - carringbExplorerMy take: Warranty length is not anywhere near important as factory support.
My Jayco had a 2 year warranty. The factory took so long to approve anything and send parts, it almost didn't matter. Plus it had some major body structural issues too and sat at the dealer for 8 out of the first 12 months. Upside, it was nice keeping the drive clear:). But it became such a hassle, I ended up just doing repairs myself, including rebuilding the sub-floor when the fresh water tank dropped out taking some of the floor joists with it.
My weekend warrior had good warranty terms as well. The problem I ran into was a limited dealer network away from the west coast. They paid for for mobile service for small repairs, but when i had major frame failure start (cracking) I had to go back to Oregon from NC, and it didn't make it. Insurance covered that one luckily, because a few months later they had to recall all their trailer frames and shortly there after went bankrupt.
Current trailer is an Outdoors RV. Bumper to bumper warranty is only a year, but the body structure is 2 years, and the chassis is 3 years. They have been great! Dealer visits rarely took more than a few days because they would approve repairs quickly and send parts on the next trailer being shipped out. I had some Schwintek slideout drive problem, which the dealer was unable to repair because it required R&R of the slide room, ORV sent a drive to pick up the trailer from my driver and take it back to the factory! - N-TroubleExplorerManufacturer warranty is only as good as your dealer IMO. Purchased my unit from a horrible dealer with no service after the sale and trying to get ANYTHING fixed was a complete nightmare.

Whoever now owns Open Range isn't responsible. Last I heard it was Jayco and if I'm wrong and it's not them then I'll apologize in advance. When OR was sold we still had just over 12 months of warranty left but the new owners said they weren't honoring any warranty work.
Jayco now owns Open Range, and they both have always included a 2 year warranty. My OR was purchased before the Jayco acquisition, and I had no problems having my warranty honored! - myredracerExplorer IIThere's a few with 2 year warranties - KZ and Jayco for ex.
A 2 year warranty is only good if the dealer will do the warranty work. If not, then you have to deal with the factory. BTDT.
Even if they do warranty work, they often can't do it right. We've been back to our dealer multiple times to get the same thing fixed and a couple still aren't fixed 'cuz they are inept.
Do your research on manufacturers AND dealers...
Extended warranties are not worth it either as things that can break usually don't and things that do, aren't covered. Read the fine print before buying one. FWIW, we have an insurance policy that covers things in the 2nd year that can fail like appliances. Not sure if these are available in the US. - Mr__CamperExplorerWhoever now owns Open Range isn't responsible. - beemerphile1ExplorerForest River offers an extra year of warranty beyond the first year for a very reasonable amount. You must buy the extension directly from the manufacturer.
On the other hand all dealers will be happy to sell you a mostly worthless third party extended warranty. - pawpaw47ExplorerMy personal experience is that both Starcraft and Jayco offer 2 year warranties. I've owned both and have had a few issues them, but all repairs were made under warranty with no problem at all. Most issues were with the appliances (heater, microwave, water pump, etc), and one problem was a slide issue.
I think the dealer makes a huge difference. I'm sure they have to do extra paperwork to get paid by the manufacturer that they wouldn't have to do if they just charged the owner for the repairs.
I think it's important to check the dealer's reputation before you sign on the dotted line. - Chuck_thehammerExploreryou purchase 1 unit.. but have 20 or more warranties to deal with.
Fine Print... and even Finer Print.. and missing information...
Some dealers will help you with it... most do not.
my opinion. - LynnmorExplorer

Just wondering which manufacturers offer 2 year or better warranties, bumper to hitch?
You better read the fine print. Usually the manufacture only warranties the box and cabinets, other components are covered by the company that made them.
