I realize that the OP was talking about new truck but the seats in my 2005 Chevy are great for my back. I have had surgery on l3-s1 that did not go very well so i live in pain most days. With the seats in my 2500 I find that I can usually adjust it during a trip to get comfortable. The thing that I like most is that I can turn on the Seat Back Heater and use it as a Heating Pad, which really helps.
