You will not be happy. The back of the seat will keep you straight up because it hits the slide room wall. BAD design by Tiffin. You can move the seat forward, but that restricts your legs and knees. Just go to the dealership and set the seat up and sit for a few minutes. Even a 15 minute test drive will give you the info you need. Doug

I've driven lots of Tiffin, Fleetwood, and Thor motorhomes cross-country at work and haven't found any issues with the slides being in the way. I'm 6' and found that I'm usually pulling the seat forward to reach the pedals. What I do have trouble with is the slides in Class C's, they can really get in the way.

If the dealer won't let you drive for two hours, at least ask if you could sit in the seat for a couple hours, and then buckle in and read a few chapters of a book or do a crossword or something. I'd think that should be sufficient to see how it might work out in actual use.

In general, I would not expect any RV to have seats that are insufficient for a 5'11" person, in general. The average male height in the US is around 5'9", and 5'11" is hardly an exceptionally tall person. That doesn't necessarily mean you specifically would find a particular seating arrangement comfortable or uncomfortable, of course.

Why not do a 2-hour test drive? Just let the dealer know of your concerns, and if they're interested in making a sale, there's nothing wrong with a 2-hour test drive. It's not like you're going to put that many extra miles on it. After all, it's already got delivery miles on it.
