Had a NovaCool RFU9000 installed when I had Host build my TC in July of 2011. I have been very happy with it. No really rough off road rides and probably will never get to that extreme. However, short of being upside down, the compressor shouldn't be impacted by being bounced around, imho. I believe they primarily sell to the marine market so I am sure they are capable of quite a bit of movement. Call NovaCool tech support, Canada 604-523-6515 and ask. The guy I talked to was great to work with when I discovered that my frig was failed to be ordered with the 110v option, so they exchanged ckt boards with me for a small up charge.
