I do not think I would mount a 100# generator on a TT that was not designed for it. Certainly not on my back bumper, it is far to thin.
We hauled ours in the TT or in the truck bed the few times we needed one. If I used one often, I would buy the lightest unit available and carry it in the truck bed.
