- OutdoorPhotograExplorerI wonder if the year over year drop for Ford is folks taking a wait-and-see attitude on the aluminum F-150? I'm intrigued by the increased payload and tow rating gained by the reduced weight. I'm not due a truck so I don't have to be a guinea pig. If it sells, maybe they'll go to that in F-250. I've seen rumors of that for 2017.
- estesbubbaExplorerI have a 2006 Ram and 2015 on order so have been out of the loop for a while. What really surprised me was seeing how well Ram is doing when you look at just heavy duty trucks.
- TurnThePageExplorerThat's the first dip in Ram sales that I can remember in a long time.

Just interesting....I know it's not "really" a truck, but Honda Ridgeline only sold 77 trucks total...wow.
Pretty sure the Ridgeline was discontinued after the 2014 model so I'm not sure why it's in the list. Anyway, I never ever considered it a truck at all and thought it was a joke that it won MT's "Truck of the Year" back when it came out. I always assumed that Honda paid for that award. - fla-gypsyExplorer

I'm just glad to see that the big three are doing okay. They all make great trucks, and I'd be proud to own any of them. They are all capable of doing the job they were designed for.
X2. While I have been a Ford SuperDuty Guy since 2003 (and they have exceeded my expectations) the next truck I buy will be the one that meets my needs when I make that purchase regardless of the name. - goducks10ExplorerIt's the Faux no spin zone theory. GM would've sold more if they had more to sell. GM would've sold more if you combine midsize and full size. GM would've sold more if they had better incentives. And lastly GM would've sold more if more people wanted them.

Donn, did you see the same numbers as I did? Ford sold over 67000 and Chevy and GMC sold combined 62588. When you say GM out sold Ford again are you referencing the Colorado and Canyon sales with that? I am a proud owner of an F-series that I bought last month. I hope my efforts to keep Ford on top weren't in vain.
Typical number twisting by some brand loyalists to see the result they would like.
Must be tunnel vision looking through that pretty boxed frame. :D - TucsonJimExplorer III'm just glad to see that the big three are doing okay. They all make great trucks, and I'd be proud to own any of them. They are all capable of doing the job they were designed for.
- Ryan_Elli1ExplorerFla-gypsy, Got it. I thought perhaps my third grade math lessons of addition had let me down. I guess if you add all 4 GM product lines together they are out selling Ford volume wise but thats across two different market segments. I see, there is some twisting and turning of numbers there.
