The Tacoma has been pretty much the leader in the small truck market for a long time with weak competition, so no surprise there, whereas the Tundra is still struggling to get a piece of the full size truck market where it has to compete with very strong competition. Plus the latest Tundra refresh didn't bring anything new in the drivetrain department.
