TripAdvisor doesn't verify its reviews. Not all that long ago it was fined by Italy for posting false reviews.
TripAdvisor fined by Italy - llowllmsExplorerAnother is Woodall's. they have their own review team that travels the US to rate campgrounds.

Hi, what would be the site for campground finder and reviews. I would mostly be camping in the north east. Ty
I have been using http://www.rvparkreviews.com for 8 yrs, web site is dedicated solely for RVing with over 200k reviews.
as far posting reviews it's pretty basic... post a few descriptive sentences about the park and if you have any criticism just be polite/constructive and you will be fine.
If you have any further questions about RVPR I would recommend posting questions on their forum. Lots of good folks there! :)
Mike - Dadio24ExplorerYou can us this to actually see the campsite if it is listed.
www.campsitephotos.com - FULLTIMEWANABEExplorerA new one that seems to be slowly but very surely gaining ground and getting a lot of support from some well known full timers choosing to contribute is Campendium.com. Might be worth keeping an eye on the growth of that one for future beneficial use. Hearing a lot of frustrations lately about RVParkReviews making it too inconvenient for those willing to take the time to contribute.

We use Google Maps for routing. Once we identify towns to stop, we look for RV Parks on www.woodalls.com Then we read the reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com - BB_TXNomadRvparkreviews.com. But you have to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt. What one person decides makes a park terrible is meaningless to another person. And some negative reviews are obviously due to someone feeling slighted by a particular person at a park. Look at the trend of the reviews. If the majority are good with a scattering of bad, then the park is probably ok. And if the majority are bad with a few good, then be wary of it. Throw out the exceptions and go with the trend.
- Sandia_ManExplorer IIRvParkReviews.com is where we go for info.
- QuahogExplorerA good place to start is Good Sam Club's page.
