Possibly. But I have to question what the payload is. Every 1/2 ton RAM and Titan I've seen with the diesel has miserable payloads due to the extra weight of the diesel.
In fact payload may be an issue with any SUV. Even a Tahoe or Suburban doesn't have a really high payload. Even if they can find one with a 5k towing capacity, with a growing child and 2 dogs the GVWR of the trailer is going to have to stay small.
