Asking what tire on this forum is like asking if everyone likes sunshine. You get the same cheerleaders for Maxxis tires. The truth of the matter is that there are now several tires that have similar construction like the brand mentioned. Look for a tire with the nylon cap. These Include Carlsile Radial Trail RH (do a search they are getting good reports). Don't be confused with the naysayers who have used them (Carlisle) 20 years ago and have not figured out that there is a new product that has been out 2 years. Also, Towmax STR radial and Westlake Tires both have nylon caps. Ask your trusted tire tire guy-"Does this tire have the nylon cap? And get the best value for your dollar.
I installed 4 Carlise RH in Florida, and they went up the East coast to Maine-then back across the U.S. to Utah WITH zero issues.
