Carlisle has another newly released tire that is supposed to be a better tire....just like their last new tire. Its gonna' take a 3-4 year run before anyone can say their better than the previous Carlisle.
I would go with the tire with a proven record.
There are several of us running the new Carlisle without any issues. At least two of us(myself inclded) have put substantial highway miles on them without issue.
Even the old ones were good. Some people just insist on looking at numbers vs. numbers in the proper context. At least the old tires NHTSA bs wasn't trotted out.
