Man you know how to hurt a guy… cheerleader.... :B
There has not been anyone in the years I have been reading the forums that is more of a cheerleader than you… you cheer Chinese tire manufacturing and have recommended companies like Westlake, the worst example of the kind of company one the knowingly and intentionally built unsafe tire to dump in the US is not who I would want to deal with or would ever trust… Duro certainly the worst trailer tire I have ever owned or that others I know personally have ever had, and the infamous Carlisle that has possibly the worst reputation of any tire ever made… at least we can agree that some of that comes from market share, and I imagine their loss of market share and their shining reputation has prompted them to come out with their new tire and I do hope they keep copying Maxxis…
I recently completed an 8,000 towing miles trip accross the U.S. Installed the new Carlisle Radial Trail RH in Orlando,FL. The tires then traveled all the way up the East Coast to Maine-and then back out to Utah. Couple of key points-always checked inflation AND NEVER exceeded 60mph. The tires performed flawlessly. As a matter of fact, I never had to add air. So-that's first hand experience.
I also made observations that 75% of people towing exceed the recommended speed for ST tires. This is what I saw on the highways during my trip.
I know, I know it’s an all new tire and everyone that says they are junk just isn’t as smart or up to date as you are… but you have beat the same Carlisle drum forever… maybe you can point us to your evidence that the new Carlisle or any of the other followers are equal to or better than the Maxxis… you do posses this information don’t you
I recently completed an 8,000 mile trip across the USA. I installed 4 Carlisle Radial Trail RH in Orlando FL. They traveled all the way up the East Coast to Maine, and then back out to Utah. They performed flawlessly. Even though I checked the pressure before heading out, I never had to add any additional air to the tires. In addition, I NEVER exceeded 60mph. However, 75% of RVers towing did exceed the publish speed limits for ST tires that I observed. But I am sure they are not the ones that come on here complaining about their JUNK ST tires. Are they?
