My guess is 98% of blowouts on ST tires are of unsubstantiated causes. As I said earlier, I observed 75% of TT and 5th wheels speeding on my 8 month,8,000 mile trip. There was a thread a while ago where a TT owner posted pictures of his blown ST tire. One of our resident tire guys looked at it and was sure it was a blowout caused by a road hazard, the TT owner denied it was the cause, but the TT owner didn't know the exact reason.
That's what your up against.
