Michelin has their faithful as they charge more for their tires than any other manufacturer for each specific model .
my personal experience has been good with michelins : no failures over 30 years on multiple cars and trucks.
Funny, my personal experience with Michelin has been equivalent to yours right up until yesterday when I received a recall notice for my truck tires.......... 2 weeks before embarking on a 4000 mile journey.
