nice story but let’s think about it for a minute…
we have a according to you and others (including myself) junk ST tires, and the tire companies will recommend their use over their own high quality and better suited LT tire so as to lower their risk of law suits…
HMMM… that is certainly an interesting perspective to present…
Maybe they could not sell any tires… that would reduce their risk to 0…
If the LT is so much better wouldn’t it then make sense to recommend them for all the reasons you mentioned… you see your story doesn’t hold water… it's a true oxymoron...
Unless maybe there are laws that put the tire manufactures at higher risk for recommending the alleged better LT tire over the much inferior and lowly ST tire…
Maybe when it comes to trailer tires the tire companies are experiencing what is a common heard phrase, you live by the sword, you die by the sword…
develop a trailer tire to better the margins, make LT or P tires only in sizes that complicate and make it difficult to interchange tire types and intentionally promote and market the trailer tire on some truth a lot of half-truths and BS… now having to live with the web of deceit they created and supported through the regulators for years…
I guess I am going to have to sleep on this some more…
