Is the 5000lbs loaded or unloaded? There was a recent thread about towing an unloaded TT, 8k loaded and the responses were overwhelmingly in favor of a 3/4 ton. If your at 5k loaded then any of the 1/2 tons with larger v8s (or ecoboost) and tow package should work fine. At that weight I think the biggest concern is making sure the TV is properly equipped with the tow package (coolers,gearing,etc).
