If just you and Sig other, a Toyota Tacoma with the v6 will do the trick. If you are a family of 6 like myself, I would have most ,new cab 15 series rigs as being recommended so far at over before loading the hitch weight of the trailer. So a half from my perspective does not have ANY tow capacity. I needed an 8 lug as 25 or 35 series truck to handle the payload needs.
Payload should be.the first thing to.look at IMHO, NOT the tow rating. If you have the payload for.people, other gear, hitch weight etc, the power to pull the load usually there.
