That is true about Napa the only thing is there Batteries only carry a 1 year warranty
I was thinking of the Walmart Battery Everstart MAXX
MAXX-65N they have a 5 Year Warranty Program (3 Years Free Replacement + 2 Years Prorated)
    850 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)
    $93.76†
I'm on my second WM set in 16 years.
  • I will recommend Autozone Duralast Gold Batteries. I know from experience that they will replace anywhere in the US. I bought an Autozone Durlast Gold in Ridgecrest Ca. I had problems with it in Yuma. They replaced it no questions asked in Yuma.AZ. The battery was still under the full replacement part of the warranty before they pro-rate the cost.
  • Honestly doesn't make a lot of difference. Buying from a large chain store could be handy if you have an issue while traveling but really for a $60-80 battery, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Unless you abuse it, you should get several years out of a new battery.

Not so. I learned hard way that NAPA is having their regional sellers.
I bought their alternator when far away from home and when it failed, I had to go 150 miles to the place that belongs to the selling region.

    Costco.

Yep ! My buddy check the spec on the Interstate Batteries at Costco and they were as good as every one else, plus they were about $20 cheaper. Great when you are buying 2 for a diesel.
  • Costco.
For cars - PepBoys have 96 months warranty on Bosch batteries.
Also before you dump old battery - consider buying new technology tester sold under Solar.
