There is NO perfect system. Even the 3000.00 systems have drawbacks.
For a complete newbie I would recommend the most used system out there.
The standard friction bar and standard WD hitch, sold under many brands.
These are the original sway control designs and though not perfect, are pretty hard to screw up so badly that you won't get any benefit from it....Later as you gain more experience with setups you may find that one of the other designs are more to your liking.... The drawback with them is that setup is more critical as they combine the two functions (WD and sway control) so if the setup is bad, it is really bad.
Money wise, you can sell whatever you start with pretty easy, so the loss will be minimal.
