If price is not a consideration, the honda would be my preferred choice. But pricewise, the Champion is FAR less expensive. Not having unlimited funds, I bought a Champion 2000 watt inverter. An inverter delivers clean power that can run your electronics like TV. They are also much quieter than contractor grade generators.
Yamaha is also a good inverter generator, and is priced about like the Honda.
