Do they make the General grabber AT2 in a size that is close to your oem size? I have had both the AT KO's and the grabbers, and they were both great tires. Noisier than a regular all season, but worth it for the extra traction. I run a second set of studded winter tires/wheels on our vehicles and it is definitely worth it. If they prevent only 1 minor accident then that pays for itself. Skip the tpms sensors as mentioned, and get another set of wheels from ebay/craigslist/or salvage yard. I have found that full size spare wheels are less expensive than regular wheels at salvage yards. I would recommend getting studded tires if you can. BFG winterforce are priced very good and have been great on our minivan. Also, it will help to start out in 2nd or 3rd gear on low traction surfaces if your auto trans will allow. Be gentle on the throttle and it will apply less torque to prevent wheelspin.
